
Dr. Cathryn Gordon Green is a psychologist and a member of L’Ordre des Psychologues du Quebec (OPQ). She completed her Doctoral Degree in the School and Applied Child Psychology program at McGill University.
At the Secure Child, Dr. Gordon Green provides psychotherapy and parent coaching. She works with children, adolescents and their families experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, self-injury, trauma, emotion regulation, and ADHD. She aims to provide each client with an individualized therapeutic experience in a safe and judgement free environment. Dr. Gordon Green’s approach is informed by attachment theory and evidence-based practices including cognitive and dialectical behavioural therapy.

Prior to joining The Secure Child, Dr. Gordon Green has worked in Santé Mentale Jeunesse for the CIUSSS Centre-Ouest, and CIUSSS Ouest. She also completed her clinical internship at the Jewish General Hospital providing individual and group psychotherapy to children and their families from diverse backgrounds. Her doctoral research was based out of the Lady Davis Institute at the Jewish General Hospital and centered around maternal perinatal mood disorders and child emotional challenges. This informs her clinical practice by helping parents strengthen their relationships with their children.
