Dr. Tamara Soles and Allyson Dinneen discuss embracing vulnerability, and boundaries and making space for even the most uncomfortable emotions. Allyson teaches how to transform childhood patterns of fixing people’s problems and making people happy to instead accompany people with compassion on their emotional journey. This presentation helps therapists examine their own beliefs about their roles as helpers. Allyson describes the purpose of emotions as signals, letting go of people’s reactions to our boundaries, and transforming our responses to other people’s emotions.
Dr. Tamara Soles is approved by the American Psychological Association and the Canadian Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists. Dr. Tamara Soles maintains responsibility for the program.
